Writing on the land since 1996

Westmarch Books publishes titles by Jim Hindle on history and the environment.  He has been writing for over twenty years, with widespread experience in archaeological interpretation, environmental education, woodland management and long-distance walking.  Publications he has written for include Vagabundo travel magazine, Permaculture, Plough and Furrow and The Transition Free Press.  Writing extensively about the environment, including his book ‘Nine Miles’; a personal account of the British anti-roads protests, his work is informed by traditional culture, life and travel on the land and doing what you can to serve the future.
